Working at height and in hard to reach places

Aim: as a result, students will be prepared to become specialists for working at height over 1,5m; they will be familiar with occupational safety requirements; will be able to use the necessary work equipment, specialized inventory and safety systems; to properly assess the situation and take measures to prevent falls.

Outcomes and results: after successfully completing this course, students will be able to select the necessary equipment for specific work situations and while working at heights; do practical work at height and in hard to reach places. Will receive theoretical and practical knowledge about working at height and hard to reach places, about the basic principles of work safety; will be able to perform first aid; will have knowledge about laws and regulations of the Republic of Latvia, related to working at height.
