Arc welding with mechanized equipment in an active gas environment (MAG)
Aim: To prepare arc welders to work with mechanized equipment in an active gas environment (MAG) in metalworking and mechanical engineering companies, construction companies, car repair companies and other companies related to metalworking, metal constructions and mechanism production, use or repair; they will be able to weld steel parts and other constructions.
Outcomes and results: After successfully completing this course, students will obtain necessary knowledge, skills and competences for reading work-related documentation; will have skills to prepare parts and constructions for welding; to obtain information about welding materials; to obtain information about welding devices and tools and their use; to prepare welding devices for use; to evaluate the technical condition of welding devices and tools; to connect welding station's equipment, devices and tools; to perform seam welding; to perform a visual inspection of welding seam quality; comply with occupational safety, fire safety, electrical safety and environmental protection regulations.
